Summer in a Pair of Shorts

Soft, lightweight and genuinely easy to wear, these linen shorts are the kind of thing you grab on a warm morning without a second thought. The drawstring waist adjusts to where you want it and sits comfortably all day, and the relaxed fit through the leg gives them a laid-back, casual shape that works with almost any top in your wardrobe. The side pockets are deep enough to be useful, and the linen fabric keeps you cool when the temperature rises.

What Makes These Shorts Stand Out

  • Drawstring waist with relaxed fit: The adjustable tie waist sits neatly and allows a flexible, comfortable fit without adding bulk, while the relaxed cut through the hip and thigh keeps everything easy and unfussy.
  • Relaxed fit, mid-length: Sits comfortably at the natural waist with a loose, easy fit through the leg that falls just above the knee for a flattering, comfortable length.
  • Easy to style: Wear with a simple white T-shirt and flat sandals for an easy summer look, or pair with a linen blouse and trainers for a casual day out.
  • Made for warm-weather days: Perfect for a casual summer day out, a relaxed holiday afternoon or a weekend at home in the garden.
  • Lightweight linen-style fabric: Soft and breathable with a natural, slightly textured feel that keeps you cool and comfortable all day in the heat.

I'm genuinely impressed by the fabric quality and attention to detail. The pieces feel premium while still being affordable. Customer service was very helpful with my sizing question too.

Very happy with my purchase. The jumper is high quality and properly warm. It feels like a premium brand without the premium price tag.

Hassle-free size exchange. I originally ordered a medium, but it came up a bit small round the waist. I got in touch with customer service and they swapped it for a large within two days, with no extra postage to pay. Brilliant service!

Pastel shades don't always come across properly in online photos, so I was a bit wary. But in real life the colour is spot on – exactly as it looks in the pictures.

Absolutely delighted with my order! The jacket is beautiful: the floral print is even lovelier in person, and the fleece lining makes it wonderfully cosy. The whole process was smooth from start to finish. Would happily order again. Highly recommended!

Illustrative campaign featuring two older women sharing a moment in a boutique.

OUR STORY

STYLE TO SHARE. AT EVERY AGE.

There is a special kind of confidence that comes with knowing what you love: a soft knit, a familiar colour, a dress that makes an ordinary afternoon feel a little more special.

Our autumn campaign celebrates that feeling through Margaret and Helen, two fictional characters inspired by the warmth of different generations sharing a love of clothes.

Their imagined boutique is a place for taking your time, discovering a new favourite and enjoying the small pleasure of getting dressed. That spirit shapes our seasonal edit: easy layers, rich autumn colours and pieces to wear your own way.

Explore the autumn sale and find something that feels like you. Thank you for choosing Dua York.

With warmth, Dua York
